02
Assessment of needs and eligibility

REE will need to assess your eligibility for support and confirm if your business has any particular issues it wishes to address with respect to resource efficiency (this helps us to allocate you with the most appropriate advisor).

Eligible businesses are those that meet the following criteria;

  • Employ fewer than 250 staff
  • Turnover of less than 50 million Euros per annum
  • No more than 25% owned by a larger organisation
  • Located in the East of England (Cambs/Beds/Norfolk/Suffolk/Herts/Essex)
  • Not a land-based business (those closely related to agriculture).
03
Referral to Advisor

REE will then appoint an appropriate advisor to support you and they will call you to book a convenient date for a site visit.

04
Site Visit

The advisor will visit your site with the aim of identifying measures to reduce the use of energy, water and materials. The visit should take approx 2 to 3 hours depending on the size and complexity of your business and we recommend that you make an appropriate member of your staff available to answer questions and take the advisor around your site.

05
Site Visit Report

From the findings of the visit the advisor will write an informative, but concise report and action plan. The report will detail the opportunities identified during the site visit and quantifying the key benefits (financial and environmental) of implementing the recommended measures.

06
Ongoing Support

Our advisor will talk you through the report and will then be available by email and telephone to provide ongoing support (up to a total of 5 hours) over a period of six months.
