Low Carbon Feasibility

Has your business identified a resource efficiency project which requires a capital investment, but you are not sure if the project will be effective at delivering resource and financial savings?

Resource Efficiency East's free Low Carbon Feasibility Support service can provide a detailed examination of such opportunities, including; an appraisal of relevant technologies; detailed cost benefit analysis; an assessment of pay back periods; and help identifying available grants and/or loans.

Support is available up to a maximum of 4 days^* per individual business and includes;

Allocation of a suitably qualified and experienced specialist from our panel of resource efficiency experts
An on-site assessment and review of the proposed project
Production of a report and accompanying action plan that details the key recommendations
Additional support to understand the content of the report and results of the feasibility study
Support in the early phase implementation of the capital project

Opportunities that can be investigated by the Low Carbon Feasibility Support service include but are not limited to;

Space heating
Lighting
Cooling & refrigeration
Process optimisation
Renewable/Low Carbon energy production
Water use reduction and recycling technologies

^* Support is offered based on the nature and type of opportunity and the cost and carbon savings the opportunity might return (i.e. the higher the returns anticipated the more days of support offered). Businesses expressing interest in this support service may be required to commit to a free Business Resource Review , prior to progressing the feasibility study to ascertain key benchmarks and to provide a basic assessment of the viability of the opportunity.
