resource efficiency to small and medium sized enterprises in the East of England

Water Efficiency Review

Resource Efficiency East offered the Water Efficiency Review service from 1st March 2010 to 31st March 2011.

A total of 19 companies were supported by the programmes water resource specialists and each received;

  • A site visit to help you identify how the business could use water and associated energy and materials more efficiently
  • A bespoke report and action plan detailing water use recommendations, proposing opportunities and quantifying the potential environmental and financial benefit
  • Further support by telephone and email for a period of three to six months to help implement the recommendations

The Water Efficiency Review service identifed opportunities to reduce water use by over 70,000m3. These opportunities represented potential cost savings of over £80,000.
